Site Failover is essential when you have multiple data centers and want added assurance that your customers always get service when there is a problem with your primary servers. Upon automatic detection of an outage, Site Failover will send traffic to an alternate server until the primary server is back online.

How It Works
Global monitoring agents perform standard-protocol or transaction-based testing. Each server is monitored by multiple agents to assure testing integrity. When it determines a server is down our system initiates a failover, automatically modifying the server's DNS response record. When the server has been restored to service, the record is replaced with the original one.
